2 cup Flour |
1⁄2 tsp Salt |
2⁄3 cup Shortening |
1⁄4 cup Water, ice cold |
Mix flour and salt well then cut in the shortening with a fork or pastry blender until the granules are the size of small peas. Add water a little at a time until the dough holds together well (you may not need the whole amount). Knead quickly about 10 strokes then chill before rolling out.
