1⁄2 tsp Vanilla |
1⁄4 tsp Cream of tartar |
Beat egg whites until soft peaks form. Add vanilla and cream of tartar and beat in well. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form and all sugar is dissolved. Spread on top of pie all the way to the crust. Bake at 35? for 12-15 minutes or until meringue is golden.
