3 cup Pecan halves |
1 tbl Paraffin wax |
14 oz bag Caramels |
111⁄2 oz bag Milk chocolate morsels |
Set oven at 300?. In top of double boiler melt wax and chocolate morsels. On a greased cookie sheet arrange pecans in clusters to form the legs of the turtles and then put a caramel on top of each cluster. Bake for 4 minutes or so (until caramel is soft but pecans are not dark). Remove from oven and mash caramel with a buttered spoon. Let cool slightly then remove to waxed paper. Let cool a little more then spoon a teaspoon of melted chocolate over each turtle and let cool completely.
