Mom's Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients
9 Eggs 12 Cup Sugar
134 Cup Sugar 212 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1 can Evaporated milk 14 Teaspoon Allspice
412 Cup Pumpkin, cooked 112 Teaspoon Almond extract
3 Tablespoon Butter or margarine 3 Teaspoon Butter/nut or vanilla extract

Directions

Combine all ingredients EXCEPT � cup sugar and 1 � tsp almond extract in a large bowl and mix well. Pour into unbaked pie crusts and bake at 400� for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350� and bake 30 minutes more or until a knife inserted at the middle comes out clean. Beat egg whites until stiff gradually adding � cup sugar and 1� tsps almond extract. Top pies and return to 400� oven and cook until lightly brown.

Makes 3 deep dish pies or 4 small pies.
