1⁄2 cup Sugar |
13⁄4 cup Sugar |
21⁄2 tsp Cinnamon |
1⁄4 tsp Allspice |
1 can Evaporated milk |
11⁄2 tsp Almond extract |
41⁄2 cup Pumpkin, cooked |
3 tbl Butter or margarine |
3 tsp Butter/nut or vanilla extract |
Combine all ingredients EXCEPT ? cup sugar and 1 ? tsp almond extract in a large bowl and mix well. Pour into unbaked pie crusts and bake at 400? for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350? and bake 30 minutes more or until a knife inserted at the middle comes out clean. Beat egg whites until stiff gradually adding ? cup sugar and 1? tsps almond extract. Top pies and return to 400? oven and cook until lightly brown.
