1⁄2 Cup Sugar |
13⁄4 Cup Sugar |
21⁄2 Teaspoon Cinnamon |
1 can Evaporated milk |
1⁄4 Teaspoon Allspice |
41⁄2 Cup Pumpkin, cooked |
11⁄2 Teaspoon Almond extract |
3 Tablespoon Butter or margarine |
3 Teaspoon Butter/nut or vanilla extract |
Combine all ingredients EXCEPT � cup sugar and 1 � tsp almond extract in a large bowl and mix well. Pour into unbaked pie crusts and bake at 400� for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350� and bake 30 minutes more or until a knife inserted at the middle comes out clean. Beat egg whites until stiff gradually adding � cup sugar and 1� tsps almond extract. Top pies and return to 400� oven and cook until lightly brown.
