Old-Fashioned Bread Pudding

Ingredients
2 Cup Milk 12 Cup Sugar
1 Teaspoon Vanilla 14 Teaspoon Salt
12 Cup Butter, melted 2 Eggs, slightly beaten
12 Cup Raisins (optional) 1 Banana, sliced (optional)
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon or nutmeg 4 Cup day old Bread, �" cubes

Directions

In a large bowl mix all ingredients well except bread. Add bread and mix well. Butter a casserole dish large enough to hold mixture (about 1� quart dish). Pour pudding into dish and set dish in 2" deep baking pan. Pour hot water into pan until it is 1 inch deep. Put all this in a 350� oven and bake for 1 hour or until a knife inserted about � the way to the center of the pudding comes out clean. Serve warm.
